BEAUTY: Painting--Charlotte Evans

Now that the weather is warming here in Northern California, and we seem to be getting a break in our much-needed El Niño storms (we hope there will be more to help with the drought), thoughts naturally turn to summer and swimming. I love the saturated work of Charlotte Evans who puts pools--and especially the ladders that go into them--front and center in her luscious, tropical canvases.
